How to Add an M3U or Xtream Codes Playlist in TovutiTV Player

TovutiTV Player supports both M3U Plus playlists and the Xtream Codes API. Here is a step-by-step guide to adding and organizing your playlists.
Method A: Xtream Codes API (Recommended)
The Xtream Codes API is faster and more reliable than raw M3U files because it allows the player to fetch live streams, movies, and TV series on demand rather than loading a massive 50 MB text file at startup.
- Log into your TovutiTV Player account dashboard.
- Navigate to Playlists → Add New Source.
- Choose Xtream Codes.
- Enter your Server URL (e.g.
http://provider.tv:8080), Username, and Password. - Click Save & Sync. Your connected TV will automatically pull down the categories.
Method B: M3U Plus URL
If your provider only provides an M3U link, paste the full URL into the M3U field. TovutiTV Player automatically parses tvg-id, tvg-name, and tvg-logo attributes to populate channel logos and the electronic program guide.
